McCall is an excellent location for anyone who loves to ski or snowboard. With access to three beautiful ski areas and miles of scenic Nordic trails, McCall Idaho skiing is some of the best in the entire state.
- Overview - Brundage Mountain Resort is the perfect place for you winter vacation. With over 320 inches of pristine, fresh powder each year, many believe this resort has the best snow in Idaho. It first opened in 1961 under the guidance of Olympic skier Corey Engen and now boasts 5 lifts that provide access to over 1,500 acres of runs. SnoCats provide access to an additional 19,000 acres of spectacular skiing.
- Season - Winter operations open at Thanksgiving and end around mid-April to early May.
- Price Range - Adult lift tickets cost $67 for the 2017/2018 season.
- Location - Brundage Mountain Resort is 8 miles north of McCall. Take Hwy 55 north then turn on Goose Lake Road which will take you to the resort.
- Overview - McCall Idaho skiing includes this charming little ski hill. It has been serving the area since 1937. A T-bar gives skiers and boarder access to several runs and 400 vertical feet. It also provides night skiing. Cross country skiers can explore several miles of groomed trails as well.
- Season - The ski hill opens mid-December and closes early March.
- Price Range - Alpine skiing - $15 for adults, $12 for children (5 to 17); Nordic skiing - $10 for adults, $5 for children.
- Location - Just 3 miles northwest of McCall off Highway 55.
- Overview - With over 2,800 vertical feet and 25 runs that will take you through breathtaking mountain scenery, you’ll love Tamarack skiing. All levels of skiers and boarders can ski Tamarack. Five lifts, an Olympic sized SuperPipe, two exciting terrain parks, and over 16 miles of cross-country trails make this a popular winter destination.
- Season - Ski season starts in December and ends early in March.
- Price Range - 2017-2018 Adult day passes are $69 and $50 for half day.
- Location - Tamarack Resort is just 19.5 miles south of McCall.
