Whitewater Rafting
The Salmon River deserves its reputation for having some of the best whitewater trips in the west, and Brundage Mountain is just waiting to help you discover why. A variety of guided trips are available, from half-day to five day, on a variety of boats, from large oar boats to paddle boats to inflatable kayaks for the truly daring. Trips begin in Riggins and float through the lower Salmon, encountering Class III and IV rapids. Longer trips wind down the Salmon all the to Hell's Canyon, the deepest river gorge in the United States.
Mountain Biking
Either ripping your way down the advanced downhill trails or cruising the smooth and buffed out single track, you definitely won't forget Brundage's 20 miles of hand-built bike trails, with all 1,640 feet of vertical drop accessible from the top of the bigh-speed lift.
Racers and spectators alike can come enjoy the Bomber Downhill Race or the cross-country race at the Brundage Mountain Bike Festival. Check in with the staff at Brundage for more details on race dates.
Scenic Lift Rides
If you've spent the day enjoying Brundage's single track or listening to some of the great music at Brundage's Summer Concert Series, stop by the chairlift and enjoy a scenic ride to the top of the mountain at 7,640 feet. After reaching the summit, enjoy a picnic lunch, hike through the forest, or simply take in the incredible view of the Salmon River Mountains, the Seven Devils, Oregon's Eagle Cap Wilderness and the Payette National Forest.
Summer Concert Series
Since 1993, Brundage has been bringing in some of the best music around to play in their outdoor amphitheater. And, while they bring in well-known, big-name acts like Widespread Panic, they also don't hesitate to invite lesser-known music, including musicians from places like Zimbabwe and Scotland. So come check out Brundage's beautiful, terraced grassy venue and enjoy the music.
