Overview
Brundage ski area provides a variety of activities for your family’s winter getaway. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can enjoy uncrowded slopes ranging in difficulty from beginning to expert. Terrain parks add to the variety on the mountain, as well as guided SnoCat tours for skiers who want to explore 19,000 acres of beautiful back country. Lessons are available for kids and adults of all levels, and there is also a program for individuals with disabilities.
Mountain Activities
Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding - Brundage Mountain Resort provides 5 lifts and 1500 acres of runs for skiers and boarders of all skill levels. While 50% of the slopes are for intermediate level skiers and boarders, 30% are for experts and the other 20% for beginners. The mountain has an 1800 foot vertical drop with one run that’s over 2 miles long.
Terrain parks - Both skiers and snowboarders can try their skills on the mountain’s two terrain parks. One is designed for beginners, while the other includes rails for those who desire a more challenging experience.
Brundage Bears Kids Program - This daily program provides lessons and activities for kids from 4 to 11 years old, and is perfect for all skill levels. There’s a morning program and a full day program.
Snow Sports School - Professional instructors provide both group and individual lessons for skiers and riders of every level. Lessons are a great way to quickly take your ability to the next level.
Adaptive Snow Sports - This program is a collaboration of the resort and a non-profit organization known as AWeSOME! (Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall). It provides specially trained instructors and adaptive equipment for individuals with all types of disabilities.
Cross-country Skiing - There’s plenty of opportunity for Nordic skiers in McCall and the surrounding area. Nearby Little Bear Basin has over 30 kilometers of trails for cross country skiers to explore.
SnoCat Guided Ski Tours - If you love the exhilaration of skiing pristine fresh powder while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery, Brundage Mountain Resort offers guided cat skiing in a 19,000 acre area of the Payette National Forest.
